The GPUS Accreditations
Committee (AC) is chartered to review requests by forming state parties
and caucuses for accreditation by the GPUS, as well as complaints against
already-accreditted state parties and caucuses. Such complaints need to
based upon the accreditation requirements of the GPUS, as expressed in its
bylaws, rules, and procedures.
Disputes between members, members and state parties or caucuses, or
between state parties or caucuses which are not alledged to involve the
GPUS' accreditation requirements are handled by the Dispute
Resolution Committee (DRC).
The AC may find that complaints brought to its attention do not, in fact,
involve issues germaine to a state party or caucus' accreditation
requirements, but are nevertheless symptomatic of a real dispute. In such
cases, it will refer the matter to the DRC.
