Targeted Campaign Resources
In order to assist campaigns in 2006, the Coordinated Campaign Committee
(CCC) of the Green Party of the United States (GPUS) is pleased to request applications for the following
campaign resources. Please refer to the Quick
Resources Application for more information or for
instructions on how to apply for resources not listed here.
- Website Templates
- Media support
- CCC Manuals
- Use of National Donor Lists for district or selected zip codes
- Use of volunteer lists
- Advice regarding the campaign's ballot access plan, fundraising plan,
field plan, and media plan
Note - If you would like to apply for financial
support, please use the Full Questionnaire.
The CCC is proud to offer manuals such as the Campaign organizing
manual, candidate recruitment manual, and ballot access manual: CCC
Manuals. Candidates should read these
manuals for help and advice prior to requesting assistance from the CCC.
____
Applying for the Green Contributions Program
Campaigns must complete and submit a Resources
Application in order to be considered for any of these resources.
The CCC has a very small amount of money available to assist Green
candidates.
Campaigns must complete and submit a Resources Questionnaire in order to
be considered for the contributions program.
Evaluations are made by members of the CCC's Resources
Sub-committee.
Please read the instructions carefully and contact members of the
Resources Subcommittee with any questions. In order to apply for the matching funds, the applying entity must be a
campaign for office running on the Green Party line in a partisan race or as an acknowledged
Green candidate in a nonpartisan race. State and local Green Party organizations are not
eligible to apply for these matching funds; neither are campaigns that are eligible to participate
in government matching fund programs with reasonable requirements. Campaigns receiving
funds must document spending of matching funds in accordance with the proposed plan,
submit all contribution and expenditure reports required by the government, and provide a brief
narrative describing the use of funds and lessons learned.
Each applying campaign will be assigned a contact person to serve as a
liaison between the candidate and the Resources Subcommittee during the application process. Any campaign
that receives resources from the CCC will be expected to fill out a simple follow up
questionnaire within 6 weeks after the completion of the campaign. This questionnaire
answers will aid the CCC in providing resources to future campaigns.
CCC evaluations provide a guide for party committees to use when
determining how to allocate financial, human, and other resources. CCC evaluations are not endorsements of a
candidate's campaign by the Green Party of the United States, the CC of the Green Party of the
United States, the CCC of the Green Party of the United States, or individual
members of the committees.
The CCC would like to help promote as many Green campaigns as possible
and strongly encourages all Green campaigns to complete
the questionnaire.
____
Deadlines
The CCC will review applications for all resources except matching funds
on a rolling basis. Applications should be returned as early as possible as review may take several weeks.
Matching Funds deadlines are July 1 and October 1 (if funding is
available) of 2006.
For details see program
rules.
____
Presidential Campaigns
The GPUS has established a new committee to handle coordination with and
assistance for Presidential Campaign efforts, the Presidential Campaign Support Committee (PCSC). While
the CCC is participating in this effort, it is not offering assistance for presidential campaign
efforts and requests that all questions relating to Presidential campaign efforts be
addressed to the PCSC.
