State Associate
Job Description
The State Associate serves as liaison from the state
Green Party to the Green Party of the United States (GPUS) Coordinated
Campaign Committee (CCC). Each State Associate will be assigned a mentor,
who is a member of the CCC.
State Associates must be approved by their state's
Party.
When current State Associates are replaced, the new
associates must get state approval first.
The State Associate responsibilities:

Participate in State Associates' listserv http://lists.gp-us.org/mailman/admin/state-assoc
where campaign and ballot access issues are discussed.

Provide information distribution from the CCC to
campaigns and local parties in their state through whatever mechanism
is available. This includes campaign resources, brochures, and other
news from the CCC.

Submit monthly reports via email to their CCC
Mentor. These reports, due by the end of each month, can be a short
email that highlights any campaign activity, ballot initiatives,
questions or concerns that have arisen in their state. The mentor will
pass along information to the GPUS Political Director.

Update and maintain their state's election
information in the GPUS national elections database. Each associate
will receive a user name and password to enter data into the database.

Participate in regional conference calls as needed
to share ideas, resources and concerns with other state associates in
a particular region.
