The Green Party of the United States is looking for interns to work in our Washington, DC office. Interns will assist with daily office operations, help develop web outreach tools, provide administrative support for campaigns, fundraising, research, and help with event planning.

Qualified applicants should be computer savvy. Experience with on-line campaigns, web design, publication layout, office work, and databases a plus. Activist experience and/or Green Party membership preferred. Women and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are currently looking for candidates starting in May 2008. Hours and start date are flexible.

This is an unpaid internship, although many colleges and universities offer college credit for internships.

If you are seeking office experience in the political arena, this is a great opportunity to get in on the ground floor. We provide a fun and friendly work environment and plenty of practical and useful experience.

The Green Party of the United States is looking for campaign interns to work
in our Washington, DC office. Interns will assist with daily office
operations, help develop web outreach tools, provide administrative support
for campaigns, fundraising, research, and help with event planning. We are
especially seeking an intern who is interested in learning about political
campaigns by participating in the coordination of Green Party campaigns for
2008. It is an opportunity to interact with some very knowledgeable people
who know how to mentor, and have very high standards.

Qualified applicants should be computer savvy. Experience with on-line
campaigns, web design, publication layout, office work, and databases a
plus. Activist experience and/or Green Party membership preferred.
Willingness to hand out flyers and scramble around putting on events an
absolute must. Women and people of color are strongly encouraged to apply.

We are currently looking for candidates starting AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Hours
and start date are flexible. Must be highly motivated and willing to learn
how to make it up on the run as well as type in data sets.
