Two high-profile women have been officially recognized as candidates for the Green Party's Presidential nomination and they, as well as all of our canddiates for local, state, and federal office are making news. Roseanne Barr ignited the news wires when she announced her campaign earlier this month, and Jill Stein was recently featured in the New York Times. It is still a long road to our nomination so stay tuned for potential new challengers, exciting developments, and a memorable Green primary season.
Meanwhile, the desire for multi-party democracy in America is getting some serious analysis. We continue to organize the nation's largest political party that refuses corporate or PAC support, and our competitive Presidential race is receiving a lot of attention.
The Green Party's Presidential nomination will be decided at our national convention in Baltimore on July 14th. State Green Parties are holding their primaries and caucuses throughout the spring and will send delegates to Baltimore to nominate our next candidate for President.
