We need to move our country forwards towards a more democratic form of elections. This includes campaign finance reform. We need to get big money out of politics by reversing disastrous Supreme Court decisions like Citizens United vs. FEC, McCutcheon vs. FEC, and Buckley vs. Valeo as well as making campaigns publicly funded. Furthermore, we need to highlight the need for a more inclusive political process that doesn't lock out third party and independent candidates. This means pushing for access and inclusion in the Presidential Debates. This includes highlighting the flaws of a First Past the Post system and advocating for Ranked Choice Voting/Instant Runoff voting. We need to make the case for proportional representation.
