| Pre-Order Bundles of Green
Pages, the Green Party Newspaper. |
Green Pages, the quarterly newspaper of the Green
Party of the United States, is available in bulk discount to all state
and local offices (check out the links at the bottom for ordering
info). If you place your order now, Green Pages will ship directly to you
from the printers--ensuring that you will receive them in April to
distribute or sell.
The Spring issue of Green Pages has a whole new design
that's sure to appeal to readers from the very first page with its
dramatic visual images of counter inaugural protests. We are introducing
our new "Evergreen" section--human-interest narratives about how
Greens are involved in changing their communities.
Highlights from the new Spring issue:
-FEATURES: Linda Piera-Avila and Lisa Taylor report on
LA's infamous Doo Dah Parade, a progressive parody of the Pasadena
Tournament of Roses parade. LA Greens' entry, "Post-Partisan
Depression," was well-received by some 50,000 spectators.
-INTERNATIONAL: Mike Feinstein travels to Japan to
witness a historic gathering of Asian-Pacific Greens.
-EVERGREEN: Deirdre Helfferich puts bike activism in
Green perspective, highlighting how our own have spearheaded efforts to
calm motor traffic around the country.
-ELECTIONS: Greens have been in a number of elections
since November 2, and candidates like Oakland's Aimee Allison are vying
for seats this spring.
-COMIX AND OPINIONS: Greens can be funny too: cartoons
by Keith Knight, John Jonik, and Mark Huwitt; Opinions from the Green
Pages Editorial Board and other contributors; Letters to the editor from
Green Pages readers.
...and much more!
Place a standing offer now, and we can offer you a
further discount throughout 2005: $25 for 100 issues instead of $30. We'll
bill you quarterly, and you'll always be the first to receive news about
Greens across the country and in your own state.
A number of individual, state, and local parties order
bundles of Green Pages to make sure it gets in the hands of progressives
in their community. Leave a stack at your library, university, coffee
house, doctor's office--and at Green house parties, monthly meetings,
conferences, campus events--wherever Greens and Green-curious folks might
gather. It's also great to send to those who contact the state office but
who aren't able to attend Green functions. Some offices donate the papers,
and others ask for a suggested donation of $1 (or a combination thereof).
This is a smart way to both inform people and raise funds at the same
time.
Order your bundle today to help defray shipping costs
and ensure that you get copies as soon as possible!
