VENEZUELA IS BEING OVERLOOKED AS IMPORTANT TRADING PARTNER WITH THE USA FOR OIL IMPORTS

I BELEIEVE THAT VENEZUELA IS BEING OVERLOOKED BY THE USA AS THE NUMBER ONE TRADING PARTNER OF THE USA.IMPORTING AND EXPORTING TO VENEZUELA WOULD HELP THE USA ECONOMY.NATURAL DISTANCE ECONOMICS FOR RESOURCES WOULD HELP CONSUMERS AT THE PUMP FOR OIL.

We should be lessening our dependence on fossil fuels, not buying it from an autocratic state.

The U.S. has played politics by trying to undermine Venezuela’s progressive governments for a number of years. Very recently a conservative government was voted in. Perhaps this would allow the U.S. to start acting grownup and start “playing well with others,” as elementary school teachers want their students to do. The U.S. SHOULD establish normal trade relations with Venezuela. However, the whole world needs to rapidly transition away from fossil fuels, so importing oil from anywhere should be reduced, along with reducing oil extraction within the U.S.

We need to leave fossil fuels in the ground and move towards 100% renewable energy. Our trade relationship with Venezuela should be focused on helping them leave their oil in the ground and developing an economy not dependent on fossil fuels.
