A Surpise at Today St. Patrick's Day Parade!
After you read this, it won't be a surprise anymore...
Walk with us on Saturday, March 17th in the St. Patrick's Day Parade! It will be a sunny, chilly day, but fun will be had by all. We line up at 11:30am on Strathallen Park, which is a street that runs perpendicular to University and East Avenues, two blocks east of Alexander. We step off at 12:30pm marching down East Ave to Main Street and down Main to Fitzhugh. What's the surprise?
At Noon, at the corner of Strathallen & East, Brian Fitzgerald White will be announcing his campaign for New York State Senate District 55. That's right - we're running someone against Rich Funke. You can read the press release at http://www.brianwhite4senate.com/announcement.
Join us!

We're looking for registered Greens in Monroe County to become monthly contributors to the Green Party of New York State. Why to the State Party? Because when you do, your money gets split in half. One half helps the state party run candidates for statewide office such as Governor (which will be happening in 2018). The other half goes to the local party, GPoMC, to help us run local candidates and work on issues such as drug addiction and single payer health care. And it can be as low as $2.50 a month. You'll be helping two entities for the price of one! To become a Green Party Supporting Member, click here.
Of course, if you would like to make a one-time donation to the local party, you can always do that here.
We're really looking forward to seeing you at the St. Patrick's Day Parade!
