Serving Our Communities by Running for Office
Green Candidates Run to Make True Representation Possible!
It seems we just had the midterm election, but getting prepared to run for office takes time! We ask California Greens to consider running for office in the 2020 local or state-wide elections! Why?
Because Green candidates are corporate-free and PAC-free so they offer true representation in a world of politics that, even at the local level, is often saturated with big money influencing our elected officials!
In many communities across California, elected Greens are all that stands to protect the needs of the community against the ever increasing corporate influences. So If you would like to RUN FOR OFFICE, learn how to go about it HERE.
With the 2020 Primary elections moved to March 3rd, there are critical dates to keep in mind. See the CA Secretary of State's listing of the deadlines HERE.
Why You? Why Not?
Running for office is not for a select few, it's for ordinary people like you who want to step up and serve their neighbors and community.
See Green Party of Marin County's Marnie Glickman Curtis talk about why she ran for office.
Thank you to all Greens who have run for office in service of their communities.
Every Green candidate's campaign strengthens our party and presents us an opportunity to bring Greens' policies and positions to California voters. We are grateful for the hard work and perseverance of every candidate who has run Green in the past.
