Join fellow Greens at Saturday's March in DC

Green Party members will be marching in the People's Climate Movement March for Jobs, Justice and the Climate march in Washington, DC on Saturday, April 29th. Greens from the District of Columbia, Virginia and Maryland have designated the National Building Museum (401 F Street NW) as the gathering point and then line-up in the "Builders of Democracy" between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. The march will begin at 12:30 p.m. and will take us by the Capitol building and White House before ending at the Washington Monument. Help Us Reach 100 Members for Accreditation!

The Disability Caucus is aiming to achieve full accreditation by the Green Party in time for the 2017 Annual Meeting in July. Part of the accreditation process is demonstrating that we have at least 100 members from over 15 states. Global Greens meet in Liverpool #Greens2017

The fourth Global Greens Congress was held in Liverpool, England March 30-April 2 -- jointly with the Congresses of the European Green Party, the Green Party of England and Wales and the Global Young Greens - bringing together approximately 2,000 Greens from over 100 countries, including more than a dozen U.S. Greens. Although the decision to hold the Congress in the United Kingdom was made years ago, the timing was prescient following last year's 'Brexit' vote by UK citizens to leave the European Union, and the challenges presented by right-wing populism and nationalism around the globe, including the election of Donald Trump as President of the U.S."What should be the Green response to such challenges" was a theme that ran throughout many of the Congress workshops and plenary sessions. A report from the 12th Annual People for Peace and Justice GatheringBy Adrián Boutureira, National Political Organizer of the Green Party of the United States The Green Party's participation at the conference came as a result of the relationship building work done in the region during the Jill Stein presidential campaign. At that time, and given its geographic, economic and demographic special political conditions, the Texas Valley had been given top organizing priority.
