Tarrant County Green Party Endorses Black Lives Matter Network and Vision For Black Lives

The Tarrant County Green Party has joined the Black Lives Matter Movement in mutual support and coalition to strengthen the movement to stop oppressive actions of police brutality in the U.S and other countries internationally. The brutality of U.S. police officers toward African-Americans is intolerable. As activists realize that the same systems of oppression killing them in the United States are active worldwide, the movement spreads beyond American borders. Non-violent activists from Ferguson, Missouri, traveled to Palestine in 2015 to cement a growing sense of solidarity and connection with the shared struggles of Palestinians against the Israeli occupation. NY Green to participate in televised debate

State Assemblyman Dan Stec, R-Queensbury, and Green Party challenger Robin Barkenhagen have agreed to participate in a televised debate that will be filmed at 9 a.m. Oct. 20 and broadcast on WNCE Look-TV of Saratoga Springs and Glens Falls, Barkenhagen announced and Stec confirmed on Wednesday. Former Saratoga Springs Mayor Michael Lenz, host of the Look TV "Beyond the Headlines" program, will be moderator. Continue reading

Green Party candidate for President Dr. Jill Stein will lead a Student Town Hall next Monday, October 3, at The Lyric Oxford, 1006 Van Buren Avenue. Doors open at 6 PM, with information tables and networking opportunities, and the town hall begins at 7 PM. Following opening remarks by Jill Stein, students will pose questions to her live. SEIU 200United, a union that represents employees of human service agencies, municipalities, school and sports franchises, has endorsed Green Party of New York congressional candidate Matt Funiciello. Additional CPD Debate Protest Rallies Coordinated by Libertarian and Green Parties

We're writing with a quick update about today's rally to protest the exclusionary "Presidential Debates". In addition to the Green Party of Minnesota's originally scheduled rally on the U of M campus at 6:00 pm, the Libertarian and Green parties are coordinating a joint effort to educate the public about why they see only two candidates in the debates in election after election.
