March 31st was International Transgender Visibility Day. It was by some degree of mistake that last year I came out as non-binary. I hadn’t thought about how races group by gender and when I ran a local 5K, I selected non-binary. I had been doing this on forms for years depending on the scope, so this was the first time I publicly gave any indication; I decided not to walk it back. The Domestic War Machine Will Never Be Satiated The violent removal of Marine veteran and Green Party Senate candidate Brian McGinnis from last Wednesday’s Senate Armed Services hearing exposed the deep-seated issues facing the US political system. Muskego, WI — Wisconsin Secretary of State candidate Pete Karas is criticizing both elected Republicans and Democrats for what he calls a long-standing failure to confront climate change despite decades of political control and opportunity.
