We are working to get on the ballot in Alabama in 2024 via a petition drive. Alabama has some of the most onerous ballot access requirements for achieving official party ballot line recognition in the country. However there are also options for getting individual Green candidates on the ballot as well as other options for regional ballot access recognition.

We are in the process of collecting approximately 52,000 valid signatures for the Alabama Green Party to achieve statewide ballot access line. This means that we would need to collect closer to 90,000 "raw" signatures to meet validation and any possible legal challenge. However, we are exploring the lower individual candidate ballot thresholds to get specific candidates on the ballot as another option. In either instance, we need lots of volunteers and donations!
