This session will explore two specific parts of fundraising. First, we'll look at the art of the ask -- specifically with respect to written appeals (whether email blasts or direct mail).  Next, we'll look at the science of tracking donation history to inform and improve future fundraising strategy. We'll answer questions like "what phrases can I use to really connect with potential donors?" and "how can I use tools like tracking codes and donor segmentation to boost engagement?"

This webinar will be presented by Michael O'Neil. Michael is the Communications Manager of the Green Party of the United States.  In this role, he handles both media and fundraising communications, writing most of our e-blasts and direct mail appeals. Michael has also worked for the Green Party of New York and also served as the campaign manager for Howie Hawkins' gubernatorial race in 2018.
