The spokesperson for The Poor People’s Army,  also known as the Poor People’s Economic Human Rights Campaign, which formed out of the Kensington Welfare Rights Union in the 1990s, is Cheri Honkala, who was the 2012 Green Party Vice Presidential candidate and the 2011 Green Party of Philadelphia candidate for Philadelphia Sheriff.
