Request for volunteers
The EcoAction Committee helps coordinate efforts by the Green Party in the United States to impact on ecological issues and to assist Green Party electoral candidates in raising such issues. The EcoAction Committee members are appointed by state Green Parties (up to 3 per state) and by national GP caucuses.

ALBANY, NY – Capital District climate groups observed Earth Day with a Rising Tide rally of 50 people in front of Congress member Paul Tonko's office in Albany, urging him to be a climate champion and support a halt to new fossil fuel infrastructure.

The EcoAction Committee will have a webinar of Biden's climate summit with the Global Greens on Tuesday, April 20 (3:00 p.m. EST) as well as a forum on nuclear power and climate change with Howie Hawkins, Harvey Wasserman and Marilyn Elie on April 27, and a forum with GPAX on climate and the military on Sunday April 25.

PITTSBURGH – As President Biden visits Pittsburgh on March 31st to promote his “Build Back Better” campaign, Pittsburgh region organizers, advocates, and activists publicly remember many years of broken promises by leaders and elected officials of the Democratic Party, decades in which the rhetoric of justice and human rights diverged wildly from the bipartisan realities of endless war that devours our resources and has displaced millions of refugees.
We remember the bipartisan abandonment of workers and unions in service to corporate donors. We refuse to forget the bipartisan building of the mass incarceration system and enablement of police violence against people of color. We remember that both parties accepted massive campaign contributions from the fossil fuel industry and richly repaid the favors with trillions of dollars of direct subsidies and deregulation threatening our very future existence as a species.

Call Biden and demand that he halt use of fossil fuels
The EcoAction Committee of the Green Party of the United States will hold one-hour webinar forum on Wed. Feb. 10 at 8:00 p.m. EST (5:00 p.m. PT) to help promote the week of action starting February 8 to push the Biden administration to Build Back Fossil Free. We need to halt new fossil fuel infrastructure, including banning fracking. Recent Green Party Presidential candidate Howie Hawkins will discuss our ecosocialist Green New Deal.
