The Foundation For International Justice Is Anti-Imperialism

The United States has had a policy of imperialism beginning after the Civil War. The US way of war, developed against Indigenous peoples, spread worldwide as the US sought to extend its power through military force, economic dominance and diplomatic hegemony.

Imperialism is driven by what Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. identified at the end of his life, the triple evils of racism, capitalism, and militarism. Lenin described imperialism as the highest stage of capitalism. Imperialism has justified mass slaughter, resulting in the US killing 20 million people since WW II. The People of the United States must say ‘no’ to imperialism.

Black Alliance for Peace Condemns Slaughter of Palestinians in Gaza

MAY 15, 2018 — While a delegation from the Trump administration and leaders from various parts of the world gathered in Jerusalem to witness the illegal and immoral move of the United States embassy from Tel Aviv to the beleaguered and contested city, Israeli soldiers slaughtered unarmed Palestinians in Gaza. The latest count reports more than 50 dead and 2,700 wounded.

The Black Alliance for Peace (BAP) demands the United States condemn Israeli state violence and the use of U.S.-supplied weapons to murder unarmed Palestinians, a violation of U.S. law. Guidelines for the sale and transfer of military equipment stipulates U.S.-supplied arms cannot be used to violate human rights.

Green Party Condemns Trump's Withdrawal from Iran Nuclear Deal

The Green Party of the United States condemns President Trump's reckless withdrawal from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) on Tuesday afternoon, May 8, 2018, and rejects the President's baseless statement that "this was a horrible, one-sided deal that should have never, ever been made."

In spite of the saber-rattling rhetoric, Iran has remained compliant with the deal, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA). The Green Party notes the one-sided nature of this deal, which punishes Iran while allowing Israel to proliferate nuclear weapons for "self-defense," a move that increases the possibility for escalated conflict in the Middle East. As stated by Michael J. Koplow of Haaretz Tuesday, "Netanyahu has convinced Trump that leaving the Iran deal protects Israel. But the U.S. walkout means a full on Israel-Iran war in Syria now becomes far more likely. "

The Time to Oppose War is Now; Greens take Action

Momentum toward war is escalating dangerously with new additions to the Trump war cabinet, John Bolton as national security adviser and Mike Pompeo as secretary of state. Bolton is a war criminal for supporting torture and lying to justify the Iraq war. He and Pompeo oppose the Iran nuclear deal. Pompeo is an aggressive war hawk who would rather seek regime change in North Korea than de-nuclearization.

There is a bi-partisan march to militarization. After the Pentagon requested a record amount of spending on war, Congress almost unanimously added tens of billions to the military budget, which is now 57% of US discretionary spending. ‘Russiagate’ continues to foment hatred at Russia and President Putin, and the recent use of a nerve agent to kill a Russian émigré and his daughter in England are leading to talk of greater conflict with Russia.

Green Party: Saudi Arabia deserves U.S. sanctions over war on Yemen, not a warm welcome for the Saudi crown prince

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Green Party leaders said that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman deserves protest and the threat of sanctions over his country's mass murder of Yemeni civilians instead of a friendly welcome to the U.S.

The Saudi Arabian leader visited President Trump on Tuesday for friendly talks about military assistance, purchases of U.S. weapons, and sharing of wealth.

Green Party: President Trump must call off threats against Venezuela, cancel sanctions

Monroe-Doctrine.jpg

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Green Party leaders said that the Trump administration's economic sanctions and threats of military intervention in Venezuela, along with belligerent policies targeting other countries, have made the U.S. an increasing obstacle to global security and stability. The Green Party declared its solidarity with the people of Venezuela and support for their well-being and right to govern their own affairs without U.S. meddling.

Greens called Secretary of State Rex Tillerson's warning of a military coup a patent threat in light of the Venezuelan election in April, which might give President Nicolas Maduro another six-year term.

The Responsibility to Protect the World – from the United States by Ajamu Baraka

Baraka-R2P.jpg

One of the most ingenious propaganda weapons ever developed is that the powerful nations of the West—led by the United States—have a moral responsibility to use military force to protect the rights of people being repressed by their governments. This "responsibility to protect" (R2P) always had a dubious legal standing, but its moral justification also required a psychological and historical disengagement from the bloody reality of the 500-hundred-year history of U.S. and European colonialism, slavery, genocide and torture that created the "West."

SOTU-stein-baraka-response.jpg

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Green Party leaders responded to President Trump's 2018 State of the Union address on Tuesday, Jan. 30, with sharp criticism of his statements on energy in light of the climate crisis, plans for more nuclear weapons, health care, immigration, and other administration policies.

The two biggest threats we face

World-Beyond-War.jpg

The threat of global nuclear war and the growing climate crisis are, to put it bluntly, the two biggest threats to the future of life on Earth.

That's why I agreed to be one of the keynote speakers at No War 2017: War and the Environment – and why I'm asking you to tune in to the opening panel this Friday September 22nd at 7 PM Eastern time.

  • NJ Residents will Gather at Martin Luther King Statue near Old Records Hall

The protest will demand an end to preparations for war and threats of war against North Korea, Venezuela, Iran, and Yemen. It will also demand $700 billion for the recovery of Puerto Rico, Florida, and Texas, and to meet human needs throughout the US.
