On March 30, Green Party member Reverend Annie Chambers won an election to the Resident Advisory Board (RAB) of the Baltimore Department of Housing The RAB was created in 1968 and designed so residents of public housing could participate in decision making for the management of housing projects. It became a model that is now used in hundreds of cities where thousands of residents of public housing participate.

On January 21, 2017, just one day after the polemic spewing Donald Trump was inaugurated President, millions of women across the globe came together to send a message. For the past year and a half, the world has watched horrified while he pushed the boundaries of what a person hoping to gain public trust can say aloud. As his racist, sexist, xenophobic, islamophobic hateful rhetoric stepped up, we were appalled. Worse yet was the fact that he seemed to be gaining support. It was this fact that scared us the most. His supporters, emboldened by their numbers, who felt it appropriate to brought us to doubt humanity.

Post-Inauguration Events, First Administration Actions
As January comes to a close, we have now seen the first actions of the Trump administration. Millions have sustained consistent waves of protest since the Inauguration to say they do not consent to Trump's inheritance of the imperial presidency, which immediately continued the policy of drone strikes and banned entrants from all the Muslim countries that have been targeted since 9/11. Subservience of energy policy to industry concerns is assured. Clearly, the wheels of empire grind on.
