The EcoAction Committee of the Green Party of the U.S. held a webinar on Monday, June 10 about the issue of degrowth. The workshop explored various issues within the degrowth movement, including how to deal with the present level of development in the Global South.

The increasingly hostile posture of U.S. foreign policy toward China foreshadows a dangerous conflict with serious economic and military consequences. This webinar will explore the forces moving the U.S. and China towards conflict; describe the likely outcomes of a clash between these great powers; and provide information on how citizens can work to avert what could become America’s greatest foreign policy disaster.

The EcoAction Committee of the Green Party of the U.S. held a forum on Monday, December 11 to provide an update on COP28.

On November 29, 1947 the United Nations adopted Resolution 181 that would divide Great Britain's former Palestinian mandate into Jewish and Arab states. In the intervening years, Israel has been engaged in a series of wars with adjacent Arab states and displaced Palestinians.

The EcoAction Committee of the Green Party of the U.S. held a forum on Monday, November 13 about the perils of garbage and waste incineration. The workshop discussed ways to combat incinerators, both existing and new ones

Incineration creates and/or releases harmful chemicals and pollutants, including: Air pollutants such as particulate matter, which cause lung and heart diseases; Heavy metals such as lead and mercury, which cause neurological diseases; Toxic chemicals, such as PFAS and dioxins, which cause cancer and other health problems. In addition to its high costs, government contracts with garbage incinerators often provide a financial disincentive to recycling and waste reduction as the government may be penalized for diverting waste from the incinerator.

The Missouri Green Party recently hosted a webinar that called for solidarity with the African People's Socialist Party against the military-style FBI attacks, economic sanctions, and bogus charges of being "Russian agents." Discussions included how the Uhuru Movement is being targeted by the U.S. government, why it is imperative that the Green Party and other freedom-loving people defend the right to free speech of all those persecuted, from the "Uhuru 3" to Cop-City protesters and Julian Assange – and how we can take action in this historic fight.

A 30-minute YouTube video talk by Gary L. Francione entitled "The Philosophy of Animal Rights." Gary's address was recorded as a Plenary Session in 2019 at a convention of the European Federation of Animal Science. There he was introduced as being the first to introduce animal rights into the curriculum at a US university in the field of law, and as being very active in the field and the debate of climate change.
