The Green Party of the United States is seeking a qualified, solutions-oriented individual for the role of Accountant. This position will be hired as an independent contractor. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. Voter registration as Green is highly preferred. The primary role of the Accountant is to maintain a general ledger or Steering Committee (SC) approved accounting software of accounts that accurately records all of the receipts and disbursements of GPUS and its various committees, caucuses, and networks. Field Organizer

Field Organizer Job Description The Field Organizer works with Green Party state parties, partners, supporters, and volunteers in order to achieve the political and electoral goals of the party. She or he will be highly energetic, adaptable, relationship-oriented, and a results-driven team player who engages volunteers and community organizations in action and advocacy, from events and volunteer days to recruitment drives and phone banking. The Field Organizer will also help train and build the capacity of volunteers and local leaders and serve as a vital link in bringing the Green Party’s political goals to life. This job will have an emphasis on volunteer coordination and working with the Political Organizer in developing communication and tracking systems to effectively deploy our volunteers.
