Electronic security and privacy favorable to Americans

The Internet began as a communications platform for the people of world, to bridge social and economic barriers, and embrace our meritocratic principles and way of life. As the Internet grew, financial interests of large multinational corporations and surveillance interests of the government diminished the power of citizens to mobilize and communicate freely. Free speech and privacy rights have been abridged. We must influence policy makers legislation to favor the interests of average American’s even if it conflicts with business or government interests. Electronic security and privacy can be far better than it is today but it requires will power and a willingness to improve.
