Give Undocumented Immigrants An Easy Path to Citizenship

Look, we're all human, regardless of nationality/citizenship-status. In fact, this nation was founded with immigration. More importantly, most, if not all, undocumented immigrants who come to our country today are hardworking people who are simply seeking a better life. Yet, our current immigration policies force these individuals to live in the shadows or risk having their families torn apart. It's time we let them come out of the shadows and allow them to enjoy the rights that we all enjoy.

Undocumented tax payers, who have been in this country for at least five years without being convicted of any crime, should be able to apply for and receive citizenship. Breaking up families is NOT a family value representing our United State’s values.

Yes, this is important, but some other strategy proposals on this list are even more important. I’m resisting the temptation to click eht “very important” spot for every suggestion I support.

Partner with the Evangelical Immigration Table for a solution on immigration that:
Respects the God-given dignity of every person
Protects the unity of the immediate family
    Respects the rule of law
    Guarantees secure national borders
    Ensures fairness to taxpayers
Establishes a path toward legal status and/or citizenship for those who qualify and who wish to become permanent residents

Furthermore, I advocate for open borders and more automatic citizenship. There should be no such thing as an illegal immigrant in America, a land of immigrants
