This month has been cold and snowy throughout Maryland, but the Maryland Green Party is looking forward to spring and making plans for campaigning during 2024, a critical election year. We are once again forced by state law to collect 10,000 signatures to regain ballot status and run candidates for office. 

Can you contribute today to our ballot access fundraising drive?

In a few months we will be busy gathering signatures at spring and summer festivals. We need your support to buy supplies, pay petitioners to supplement our volunteer efforts, and pay tabling fees at events throughout the state. 

In addition to local candidates, we are working hard to put a Green nominee for President on the ballot in 2024. This is a critical year to show Marylanders that they don't have to choose between the failed approaches of either Donald Trump or Joe Biden.

We know that neither of these administrations has the right approach on key issues. Neither candidate understands how to stop the climate crisis or support the millions of Americans struggling to make ends meet. And neither's foreign policy includes an ounce of compassion for oppressed people overseas - both Biden and Trump support bombing Yemen and continuing to send billions in aid to Israel's military to occupy and destroy Palestine.

The Green Party platform opposes this policy and tens of thousands of Marylanders are desperate for a candidate who will work to prevent - not promote - a growing genocide. We want to put that candidate on the ballot.
