State Conventions

The Green Party of Florida will be holding it's Annual State Meeting for 2018 in West Palm Beach, Florida during the weekend of Friday June, 29th to Sunday July, 1st.

Full details on venue locations as well as the official Agenda, all Offices/Appointments up for Election at the GPFL or GPUS level, and Motions/Proposals up for consideration by the General Membership will be forthcoming.


On Saturday July 7 and Sunday July 8 the Green Party of Pennsylvania will be meeting in the beauty of Evansburg State Park in Collegeville to connect with one another, as well as the with the values, pillars, and issues that define us as a political party.  Saturday we will have some networking time and feature speakers, as well as a nature walk hosted by Philadelphia Green, Chris Robinson.


This is to let you know that the Green Party of Tennessee will have our annual meeting on Saturday, June 16 at 1:00 PM Central, 2:00 PM Eastern.

In order to allow more people to participate, we are going to have a virtual meeting this year.  We send out the log-in information a bit later in the week.


Highlights Dangers Of Radioactively Contaminated Explosives Facility Upwind Of Stockton

STOCKTON, CA – The Green Party of California – whose national party remains the only major party with nationwide ballot access that accepts no corporate donations – announced that it will hold its first state meeting of 2018 over the weekend of June 9-10, in the city of Stockton in San Joaquin County.


Join us for the Maryland Green Party's annual State Assembly on June 30th. Our 2018 host is the Howard County Green Party, holding the assembly in Elkridge, Maryland. The event will take place from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Elkridge Library.

We will have a selection of speakers, most notably former Co-chair Ian Schlakman and HUD RAB delegate Rev. Annie Chambers, who are running for Governor and Lt. Governor respectively. There will also be group discussions, panels, and workshops.


The North Carolina Green Party (NCGP) statewide Spring Gathering will be Friday evening May 18 through Sunday afternoon May 20 in Asheville and will be held at The Block Off Biltmore, 39 S. Market St., Asheville. NCGP members and nonmember supporters are both encouraged to attend.

This event is free and open to the public. Donations to the NCGP are welcome at our Donate Page to help cover expenses.


The afternoon portion of the Green Party of Virginia State Meeting will feature a panel discussion on the pipeline(s) with many experts.  You can go to the facebook page for a quick overview.  You can also read the invitation below from the New River Valley Greens if you want more in-depth info.   Hope to see you there!

The panel is free and open to the public. Parking will be most convenient at the Squires lot on college avenue behind Squires Student Center. Parking is free as it is a weekend. Downtown parking will also be free.


The Maine Green Independent Party will hold it's 2018 Annual Convention on Sunday, May 20th. The convention will take place at the Viles Arboretum in Augusta.

We will be presenting our wonderful Maine Green Party candidates for you to hear and meet and learn how you can help with their campaigns and perhaps run in the future yourselves. This year you can vote on Party Bylaws and Platform. 


The convention for the Onondaga County Green Party is being held on Thursday. Every enrolled Green has a vote. Observers are welcome. We need your energy and ideas because we need the Green Party more than ever.

State conventions are where you get to make your voice heard to Greens from across New York. Choosing our candidates for Governor, Lt. Governor, Comptroller and Attorney General is important business! And your vote counts.
