The Arizona Green Party (AZGP) has begun recruiting candidates for the 2018 Elections. So far, we have two statewide candidates (Governor and U.S. Senate), three congressional candidates, and three legislative candidates. In 2016, AZGP set a state party record by running nineteen (19) candidates statewide. Our goal for the 2018 Elections is to run at least 30-35 endorsed Green Party candidates statewide (statewide office, U.S. Congress, and Arizona State Legislature). The fact that we have already reached 25% of our goal bodes well for us!

• Haryaksha Gregor Knauer: U.S. Congress, Congressional District 4
• Myron Scott, U.S. Congress, Congressional District 9
• Angel Torres: Governor
• Matthew Daniel: State Representative, Legislative District 1
• Stephanie Snyder: State Representative, Legislative District 1
• John-Aaron Baumann: State Senator, Legislative District 1

Stuart Starky, Green Party candidate for Superintendent of Public Instruction, has decided to suspend his campaign due to health reasons. The Arizona Green Party (AZGP) endorsed his candidacy at our last state meeting on September 9, 2017. We thank him for his consideration, and wish him a speedy recovery.

If you have not already done so, please visit the Arizona Secretary of State's website to sign the nominating petitions for our Green Party candidates. If you are a registered Green Party voter in Arizona, or a registered Independent/Party-Not-Designated voter in Arizona, please sign the nominating petitions for Eve Reyes-Aguirre and Angel Torres. In you live in the Congressional Districts 1, 4 or 9, or live in Legislative District 1, please sign for those respective candidates.

We need to recruit several more Green Party candidates for statewide office, U.S. Congress, and the Arizona State Legislature.
