California: Join us to build a Green Future in 2023!
-
We wish you peace, joy and community in this holiday season and throughout the New Year
Today, with a political climate of division and violence that pushes more people out of the fold, we Greens can be the uniting ties to remind everyone that we do what we do, for love.
May your holidays be spent safely and joyfully with loved ones and may you pay your blessings forward.
2022 has been yet another year of Greens fighting for our values and convictions against the barrage of corporate policies that leave "We The People" behind.
There were countless challenges facing our communities this year: economic pressures, job losses, homelessness, disappearing safety nets, lack of accessible healthcare, a raging pandemic now ignored by our government, workers' rights violations through congressional interference, and despite the international outcry.... a continuation of family separation of asylum seekers. There are too many more issues to mention.
There is no use appealing to the conscience and empathy of our elected representatives in Washington. They have not, and can not hear us above the cacophony of cash pouring into their campaigns and portfolios.
But... we Greens will not give up, we can not give up because the alternative is accepting corporate rule of our society. We believe a better world is not only possible but achievable if and ONLY IF we leave no one behind.
We work to build an alternative Ecosocialist system for a socially and racially just, ecologically sustainable, democratic and peaceful society that exists in harmony with nature, one that is founded on our Green Values of democracy, equity, and solidarity.
Join us in 2023, get involved in your city and town governance, share, collaborate, and support like-minded people to build the society you want to live in, and in that work, find the camaraderie and balance we all need.
