Learn to lead at the Green Campaign School!
MADISON, Wi – Please join the Wisconsin Green Party (WIGP) at a one-day Green Campaign School on Saturday November 9th in Madison!
This campaign school is for anyone who is interested in running for office as a Green, working on a Green campaign, or simply learning more about grassroots campaigning.
This intensive one-day training will include:
- Campaign planning and strategy
- Building a team
- Media and messaging
- Getting the message out
- Social media and technology
- Fundraising and budgeting
- and more!
The Green Party seeks to empower regular people to run for office and break down the barriers that prevent people from taking part in politics, government, and the decisions that affect our daily lives. To that end, this campaign school will be free and open to the public. Greens from outside Wisconsin are welcome as well.
Although participation does not necessarily imply Green Party support, information will be provided to participants about the process for seeking Green endorsement.
The Green Campaign Training School will be held on Saturday November 9th from 12 noon to 5:00 p.m. at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer St, Madison.
We invite you to stay from 5-8pm, when we'll serve dinner on-site and have some time to keep the conversation going.
Attendees should register as soon as possible so that organizers have ample time to make arrangements and send important information. Refreshments, coffee and tea, and dinner will be provided on-site (with a $5-10 donation requested to cover food costs).
Contact WIGP co-chair Dave Schwab at email@example.com if you have any questions. Mark your calendar and don’t miss this opportunity to learn how to lead the way to a better world!
Co-chair, Wisconsin Green Party
P.S. - The Green Party is a people-powered party that refuses to take money from corporations, lobbyists or super PACs. We rely entirely on people like you for support. Please consider making a contribution to support our work - thank you!
