The Green Party of Texas Annual State meeting is scheduled for June 8 – 9, 2019 starting at 9:00 a.m. This year the meeting will be in Temple, Texas at the Holiday Inn Temple-Belton.

Business at the meeting will include:

• Electing 1 Co-chair
  
  
• Confirming Janis Richards as Co-chair
• Electing GPTX Secretary
  
  
• Electing 5 At-large members to the State Executive Committee
  
  
• Electing 9 delegates to the Green Party US
  
  
• Consideration of proposed amendments to the bylaws
  
  
• Discussion of our strategy since it appears we will have ballot access in 2020

Local chapters are requested to submit delegate rosters to the Secretary [email protected] within 14 days of the Meeting on 5/24/2019. But a duly elected delegate will not be refused if their name is submitted after that date.

All Greens in counties without a local chapter are eligible to attend as delegates. Please try to submit your request to [email protected] by 5/24/2019.

All county delegations are subject to the formula set forth in Article V, Section 8 of the bylaws.

If you wish to offer your services in any of the leadership positions being elected this year please submit that information to [email protected]. We need you.

When we have your name, we will send you an acknowledgment and a preliminary agenda.
