Green Party Of Hawai'i 2017 Annual State Convention
THE 2017 ANNUAL STATE CONVENTION of the Green Party of Hawai`i (GPH) will be held on Hawai`i Island, Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the Kona Elks Lodge
The business meeting begins promptly at 2:00 PM and we will adjourn the meeting at 4:00 PM. People wishing to stay longer and discuss all things GPH can stay and use the lanai after the meeting.We will have a potluck before the meeting, so please bring a dish to share. We will elect GPH officers and Green Party of the United States (GPUS) delegates: 2 State Co-Chairs, Recorder, Treasurer and Membership Chair plus two delegates and two alternates to the GPUS National Committee (NC).
Nominations are now open for all of these positions. Please send nominations you may have to: [email protected], by phone (808-9668831) or by snail mail (GPH PO Box 4065, Hilo, Hawai`i 96720) by April 28th so we have time to print, mail and receive ballots within the short time before the GPH State Convention. The GPUS Annual National Meeting Committee (ANM) is July 13-16, 2017.
Ballots will be mailed to all GPH members after nominations have closed on April 28 th . After receiving your ballot, you may mail in your ballot or you may vote at the GPH Convention on June 10th. As stated, the ballots will be mailed to GPH members after nominations have been received for GPH officers and GPUS positions and ballots printed and mailed. Please update your GPH membership contact information and send in your GPH dues of $20/year using the SASE even if you have no nominations.
There is no charge to attend the GPH Convention, however donations are always needed to fund the event and pay for mailings. Dishes welcome for a potluck. We hope to see you there.
