Keeping the Momentum going in Oregon
Eugene, OR – These elections have brought some needed fresh air into the political discourse - but it is only a brief respite. Thank you to all of you who blockwalked, called, organized and were seen in action or online; your contributions made a difference.
Please save the date for the upcoming Pacific Green Party Convention, Skills Share and Social. It will be held on December 1 and 2, at the Ike Box Cafe in Salem. More information can be found at www.pacificgreens.org/news and below.
We have ambitious plans for the next 2 years, including proposals for a Popular Education campaign and Listening tour to East and South Oregon; running well-thought out campaigns for 2020, connecting with key allies like MovetoAmend, SEIU and FairVote to do the groundwork - By the end of 2020 we will have at least eight active chapters across the state.
What we will need is 1) you and your special skills; 2) and fuel to put those plans into effect.
A $5-$10 monthly donation for 2 years will provide the money for brochures, shwag, travel expenses and meetings like the convention. Bend has been floated as the location for the Summer 2019 nominating convention. Feed your non-corporate democracy: Click here and commit for 2 years.
If you cannot make it to the convention but want to become actively involved in your area, please send a message to [email protected] and please list what skills you want to offer and where you are located.

May we keep in our thoughts those devastated by fires, mass shootings, war and famine, including non humans.
