Scott McLarty is former media director for the Green Party of the United States. He has been published in Roll Call, Common Dreams, Z Magazine, CounterPunch, and In These Times, among others.

Scott joined the Green Party in 1996 and in 1998 ran for the Ward 1 seat on the Washington, DC City Council. McLarty is from Long Island, New York, and now lives in Washington, DC.
