Ajamu Baraka

Ajamu Baraka is the national organizer of the Black Alliance for Peace and was the 2016 candidate for vice president on the Green Party ticket. Baraka serves on the Executive Committee of the U.S. Peace Council and leadership body of the United National Anti-War Coalition (UNAC).

He is an editor and contributing columnist for the Black Agenda Report and contributing columnist for Counterpunch. He was recently awarded the US Peace Memorial 2019 Peace Prize and the Serena Shirm award for uncompromised integrity in journalism.

Margaret Flowers

Dr. Margaret Flowers is a retired pediatrician and advocate for a national single payer healthcare system. Flowers is an advisor to the board of Physicians for a National Health Program (PNHP) and co-founder of the Health Over Profit for Everyone (HOPE) campaign. In 2009-10, she serves as a Congressional Fellow for PNHP.

She is co-director of PopularResistance.org and co-host of the podcast/radio show Clearing the FOG. She is active in her state and local Green Party. She ran for Senate in 2016. And she is completing her term as a national Green Party co-chair.

Robin Harris, Co Chair of Green Party of Florida and National Black Caucus. Robin is recently Chair and Legislative Director of FL NOW. Robin is an Activist and has passion for many issues that impact the Black Community.

Seth Kaper-Dale

Rev. Seth Kaper-Dale and his co-pastor wife Stephanie have served the Reformed Church of Highland Park in New Jersey (RCHP) since 2001. In addition to traditional church ministry Seth has created a robust network of church-based non-profits that exist to provide affordable housing, disaster relief, re-entry support after prison, mental health services, immigrant advocacy, and support for veterans, unaccompanied minors, victims of trafficking, asylees and refugees. Seth has also created a refugee run cafe and a fair trade marketplace and an organization to support those with cancer. Seth serves as President of the board of the National Religious Campaign Against Torture. In 2013 Seth published his first book, “A Voice for Justice: Sermons that Prepared a Congregation to Respond to God in the Decade After 9/11.”

In 2017 Seth was the Green Party of New Jersey’s candidate for governor. Seth and his wife have three daughters: Sena, Leah and Cora

Margaret Kimberley

Margaret Kimberley is a co-founder and Editor and Senior Columnist for Black Agenda Report. She is the author of the book “Prejudential: Black America and the Presidents.” She is also a contributor to the anthologies “In Defense of Julian Assange,” and “Killing Trayvons: An Anthology of American Violence.” Her work has appeared in Counterpunch, Consortium News, Common Dreams and the Dallas Morning News. Ms. Kimberley is a steering committee member of the Green Eco-Socialist Network, an Administrative Committee member of the United National Antiwar Coalition and the Coordinating Committee of Black Alliance for Peace. She is a member of the Green Party of New York.

Jenny Leong

Jenny Leong is the State Member for the Electorate of Newtown in the New South Wales Legislative Assembly. Jenny has been an active member of The Greens for over a decade. In 2013, she worked as the Federal Election Campaign Coordinator for the NSW Greens.

Jenny was elected to parliament at the NSW state election on 28 March 2015 and Her state-wide portfolio responsibilities for the NSW Greens include Human Rights, Sex, Sexuality and Gender Identity, Housing and Homelessness, Women’s Rights, Multiculturalism, Western Sydney and Climate Change.

Jenny is a passionate advocate for equality, justice, and human rights – and has a long track record of standing up and speaking out against racism, sexism, discrimination and the politics of fear. She is strongly committed to ensuring we maintain the diversity and creativity of our city by removing the privatisation agenda that prevents housing, transport and public services from serving people and communities.

Mirna L Martinez

Lisa Savage

Lisa Savage has been a public school teacher in central Maine for 25 years, working primarily with students from low income families. As an elected vice president and chief negotiator, she fought for wages, benefits, and job security for the educators of her collective bargaining unit of the Maine Education Association. Prior to becoming a teacher, Lisa owned and operated a successful small business, and with her husband, Mark Roman, a self-employed woodworker, she has five grown children and four grandchildren.

Lisa has been a community organizer for peace, climate, and racial justice for many years. She co-coordinated the Bring Our War Dollars Home campaign to redirect federal funds from the military to meet social needs. She founded the Maine Natural Guard to help people connect the dots between the Pentagon and its harm to our climate. She was instrumental as an ally with indigenous people working successfully to retire the last Native mascot in Maine schools, and to pass a law banning them. She also helped lobby Maine legislators to designate Indigenous Peoples Day as a state holiday replacing Columbus Day, and she has contributed on many occasions to educate Mainers on Native history and culture.

Lisa sees working for the common good as paying back the investment in her education, and the privileges available to her as a white person in the U.S.

Jill Stein

Jill Stein was the Green Party’s presidential candidate in 2016 and 2012. She is an organizer, physician and environmental health advocate. She was the first national Presidential candidate to call for a Green New Deal, free public higher education, a student debt bailout, reparations and demilitarization through a foreign policy based on human rights, international law and diplomacy. She was also the only candidate to be arrested for supporting the Dakota Sioux nation in resisting the DAPL pipeline. Following the 2016 election, she launched a recount campaign to investigate potential hacking, error and interference in voting machines, and press for better protections, for which legal action is ongoing.
