Rita Maniotis has worked in the Green Party since 2006. She ran for state representative in Illinois in 2008 and ran for school board twice in the notorious Berwyn-Cicero School District. Rita also served the Illinois Green Party as Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, and was Chair of the Cook County Green Party as well as Berwyn Township Committeeman. She joined the Wisconsin Green Party in spring of 2023.

Rita Jacobs is a retired probate lawyer from Lansing, Michigan. She has devoted her retirement years to learning about current events and issues, as well as the history behind them.
