In preparation for our upcoming State Convention on July 20th, we are accepting nominations for Delegates to the Green National Committee, Delegates to the State Convention, and Regional Representatives to the Mountain Party’s State Executive Committee, which our membership will be able to vote for online beginning June 30th. All Mountain Party (Green Party) registered voters in West Virginia will be eligible to vote.

Less than 1 week remains for the general membership to submit proposals to amend the party's bylaws and platform.

Party members in good standing may submit proposals due June 21, 2024 by 11:59 PM ET and can be sent to [email protected] with the subject heading “Bylaws Amendment” or “Platform Amendment” and must clearly identify any subtractions or additions of text (strike-through and underline format is acceptable).

The Mountain Party’s biennial convention for 2024 will be held on Saturday July 20th via Virtual Meeting from 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm Eastern.

Mountain Party candidates and representatives will share their vision for a better West Virginia. In addition, we will elect party officers, nominate candidates, and amend the party’s bylaws.

Speakers and additional event information will be provided closer to the convention.

There is no registration fee for delegates.

The press is welcomed. Members in good standing may request a link to observe the live convention.

Convention proceedings will ultimately be made available to the public.
