Greens must build a party that has a clear line of demarcation from the Democrats, especially because we are not satisfied with superficial gestures. We seek system change, and capitalism is the problem.
It’s funny how, when we critique the policy of the Democratic Party and its candidates, how touchy some people can get. It’s almost as if they think the Green Party is only the left wing of the Democrats. Well, we’re not. We’re working toward system change, not just climate change, because the system is the problem.
