Green Party City Council Candidates Plan Busy Election Day
Rochester, NY – Local Green Party of Monroe County candidates for Rochester City Council and their supporters have a busy day lined up on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5th. All three candidates will be voting, along with providing rides to the polls, and an Election Night celebration.
Alex White, City Council candidate for the South District will be voting at 6:30 a.m. at Baber AME Church, 550 Meigs Street.
Dave Sutliff-Atias, City Council candidate in the East District will be voting at 7:45 a.m. at Cedarwood Towers, 2052 E. Main Street. Sutliff-Atias will be voting with his family, including daughter Julia, who will be voting at her polling place for the first time.
Chris Edes, City Council candidate for the Northeast District will be voting at 6:00 p.m. at Andrews Terrace, 125 St. Paul Street.
The rest of the day, the candidates, along with Green Party supporters will be providing rides to the polls for anyone in the City of Rochester from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Voters should call (585) 568-7308 to arrange a ride.
At the end of the evening, candidates and supporters will be gathering to celebrate this historic election from 8:00 – 11:00 p.m. at 140 Alex Bar and Grill at the corner of Alexander and Broadway.
