The Green Party of Connecticut (GPCT) held it's Annual State Meeting and Nominating Convention on Saturday May 12, 2018 in Portland, CT.

During the Nominating Convention, the following candidates were endorsed as nominees in statewide elections:

Secretary of the State - Mike DeRosa
Attorney General - Peter Goselin
Comptroller - Ed Heflin
US Senate - Angela Capinera

In voting for internal officers of the GPCT, the following individuals were elected:
Co-chairs: Joshua Kelly, Mike DeRosa, Cass Martineau
Secretary: Ronna Stuller
Treasurer: Chris Reilly
Representatives to GPUS: Mike DeRosa, Owen Charles, Joshua Kelly

After the internal and external candidate statements, we ran several workshops on the following topics/issues:

• Public Land Trust and Affordable Housing
• Public Banking
• Ballot Access
• Millstone Nuclear Power Plant
• Immigrant Rights

We also set the date for the next SCC meeting for Wednesday, May 23, 7:00 pm. At that meeting, we will choose our representatives for the standing committees of the national Green Party.
