Q & A Responses
When was the last time you were inspired? A real lightbulb moment? 71% of voters don't want Biden nor Trump to run in 2024. As Treasurer on the Steering Committee, my goals would be to build camaraderie with our state parties and our standing committees to collaboratively achieve success and enhance transparency of party workings.
I believe our processes and resources need to be refined in order for the national party to provide items as simple as a tabling kit or resource sheet. Trainings are essential for our success yet scarce. If we invest in our hard working volunteers, we can inspire their natural talents and augment our grassroots movement from the ground up.
Another way to achieve our goals is to think outside the box for fundraising and not just rely on emails, mailers, and phone banking (I did an NC thread on this). Additionally, I've drafted a two year plan to fund party goals/benchmarks to allow Greens to donate directly to our specific party needs .
If elected, I will concentrate on finding more resources as well as, simultaneously report to the NC and SC to ensure transparency and mutual respect.
PARTY HISTORY
With 28 years experience in public policy, electoral reform, public relations, political campaigns, grassroots organizing and grassroots budgets, I can honestly say I've been a Green much longer than when I heard Nader speak in 2000 in Los Angeles. I found my home in the Green Party then but didn't get involved at the national level til 2018.
