Only Eight Weeks until the November 6th Election
We are a short EIGHT weeks away from the November 6th general election!
Our Green Party of California Congressional Candidates have been campaigning hard to get their message out to voters across their districts, and they need our help.
Please consider joining the Green Wave of volunteers and donors in supporting our candidates who are all running head-to-head with incumbent Democrats in their districts. We must put people power behind these candidates because the Green Party and all Green Candidates reject corporate donations by principle.
If you are a Green, running for local office in the November election, let us know! We are compiling the list of candidates for local office and want to make sure we don't miss you!
Join the California Green Wave of support for our Green Candidates, Kenneth Mejia (CD 34), Rodolfo Cortes Barragan (CD 40), and Laura Wells (CD 13).
Kenneth Mejia, Congress District 34
It's not enough to be progressive,
it's time to be REVOLUTIONARY
News From the Mejia Campaign:
We are humbled to be endorsed by these progressive movements, parties & activists. The midterm elections are only two months away - do you know who you are voting for? Our campaign is 100% volunteer run, we accept no corporate donations, and we are working tirelessly to unseat our incumbent corporate democrat. Because in the end our fight isn't about republicans (there aren't any in the race) vs democrats - it's about people power vs corporate dollars. We're fighting for BIG CHANGE, which Jimmy Gomez isn't.
Kenneth believes that Healthcare, Housing, Education, and a Clean Green Environment are Human Rights and will fight in Congress to make that happen.
If you believe in revolutionizing our government, you still have time to get involved and help us in the final 8 weeks. You can help from ANYWHERE!
Canvassing (knocking on doors if you live in Los Angeles),
Phonebanking (from anywhere and even out of state),
Reaching out to friends in the district to vote for us (we would need their first and last name to see if they're in the voter file).

Rodolfo Cortes Barragan, Congress District 40
Common sense reforms: Tax relief for working families, No more wars, Fight big money in politics
Rodolfo is committed to developing a bench of Green, progressive candidates for state and nationwide office. To this end, he is working alongside and empowering candidates who are running for school board within his Congressional District. He is sharing information with them and with the local communities on the failures of the Democratic Party to protect children and families from the horrors of corporate America. He will be supporting and organizing with at least three separate candidates for school board who will appear down-ballot in November. While School Board races are non-partisan, Rodolfo knows that nurturing more young candidates in a direction that is not tied to the Democratic Party will help the larger Green and independent left movements. While Rodolfo has the easiest possible race for Congress, it's still an uphill battle. However, we can win these local seats, and the next Green campaign for Congress in the area will be even stronger.
Laura Wells, Congress District 13
Laura Wells, a real choice for Congress, because a better world is possible.
"I am running corporate-free for Congress, District 13, in a two-person race with Democrat Barbara Lee, no Republican in the race. This is the time to use your vote to pressure Congress to provide the very basics our communities lack, like healthcare, affordable housing and education.
There are solutions, but the sold-out two-party system ignores our needs -- especially in California! -- and focuses on corporate-profits."
Now is the time ...
Government must be part of the solution, but when it's controlled by the 1%, it's part of the problem. Help us turn our Government Green!
