What if Banks Served We The People, Not Wall Street?
Please Sign Our Petition in Support of a Public Bank
The Green Party of Santa Clara County and our partner, the Public Banking Action Team of SBPA ask for your support for a regional or municipal public bank in the south bay area.
By signing our petition, you join other public banking advocates, social justice fighers and progressive social justice organizations to enable the formation of a pubic bank.
We are actively lobbying our elected officials to remove any obstacles in the way of implementing a pubic bank in our region. If you are a member of a south bay organization, please contact us to join our efforts with your organizational Pledge of support.

Rally for Coyote Valley
Tuesday, January 22 at 12 – 1:30 PM
San José City Hall
200 E Santa Clara St, San José, CA 95113
Join Santa Clara Greens and our partners at this rally outside San José City Hall on Tuesday, January 22 at noon to stand up for the protection of this regional treasure, Coyote Valley — the wetlands, open space, and farmland just south of urban San Jose — has been threatened by industrial sprawl for too long.
The San Jose City Council is bringing the future of North Coyote Valley to a special study session. Now is the time to stand together for Coyote Valley as the council considers public purchase of land with up to $50 million of proceeds generated by Measure T bond funding. We will rally outside of City Hall and walk into council chambers together at 1:00pm with our Protect Coyote Valley signs and stand together for the first 20 minutes of the session.
Signage will be provided. Press will be invited to the event. Bring an umbrella if there is a light rain; downpour cancels the rally. First 150 RSVPs get a Protect Coyote Valley t-shirt.
Green Party of Santa Clara County Monthly Meeting
Thursday Jan. 24, 7 - 9 pm
Peace and Justice Center
48 S 7th St, San Jose, CA 95112-3531, San Jos
Join the Santa Clara County Green Party for our monthly meeting to learn about our plans and activities. We are grassroots activists, environmentalists, advocates for social justice, nonviolent resisters and regular citizens who’ve had enough of corporate-dominated politics. Government must be part of the solution, but when it’s controlled by the 1%, it’s part of the problem. We are building the Party for the 99% and need your help to bring our message of peace and democracy to our community.
Vote Your Values
Our democracy needs you and your voice = vote. Remember, you can vote for any candidate in the November 6th election no matter what your party affiliation is! Make sure your family and friends are voting November 6th!
Peace Over Profit, People Over Profit, Planet Over Profit
The Green Party has been fighting for Peace since our inception! No other national party in our country stands up to the war machine and to the billionaires.
