Green Party of Colorado Launches “Green Spring” Across Colorado
The Green Party of Colorado will hold seven spring events statewide from March to June 2025, aiming to revitalize grassroots democracy through voter engagement and political empowerment. The initiative seeks to:
- Reconnect with existing members while introducing Green values to new audiences
- Support future Green candidates for local/state offices
- Advance our platform prioritizing people over corporate interests and corruption-free governance
- Collect petition signatures calling on Governor Jared Polis to issue a climate emergency
"We believe in the power of grassroots democracy, and this spring, we're putting those words into action," said Patrick Dillon, Co-chair of the Green Party of Colorado. "Our mission is to create a Colorado that puts people over corporate profits and we do that by demanding a corruption free democracy.”
The events will feature party leadership and special guests like Lafayette Councilman Tim Barnes (G), visiting:
- Boulder
- Colorado Springs
- Denver
- Fort Collins
- Grand Junction
- Greeley
- Pueblo
Details about dates, venues, and volunteer opportunities will be updated at www.cogreens.org.
