2024 New Mexico Legislative Session

We plan to support the legislation that removes the prohibition on rental caps and the joint resolution to put the question of an Independent Redistricting Commission (IRC) on the 2024 General Election ballot. It is unclear if there will be legislation to fix problems apparently created for minor party and write-in candidates by the omnibus elections bill SB180 passed during the 2023 session.
