Save the date! In celebration of Martin Luther King Day, on Sunday, January 16th at 2:00 p.m. EST, the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign (PPEHRC) and the Green Party of Philadelphia (GPOP) will co-sponsor an online workshop on "Poverty, Culture, and Activism," exploring culture as a response to the experience of oppression and as a form of activist response.
Participants include leading cultural figures such as Shamako Noble, Mic Crenshaw, William Copeland, and Kwami Shakur. More info to follow; we hope you will plan to join us!
