Green Party members respond to DNC attack ad targeting Stein

"If Harris is defeated in November, the reason won't be Stein. #GazaGenocide"
WASHINGTON, DC — Green Party leaders and members responded to an ad from the Democratic National Committee targeting Green nominee Jill Stein, calling it a desperate collection of smears and myths.
Democrats have also attempted to block or remove Dr. Stein and running mate Butch Ware from several state ballots by filing frivolous lawsuits, most of which have been thrown out of court. They succeeded in Nevada, but Donald Trump is currently ahead of Kamala Harris in polls of Nevada voters.

Greens respond to the DNC:
Margaret Elisabeth, co-chair of the National Lavender Green Caucus:
"If Kamala Harris is defeated in November, the reason won't be Jill Stein. The Biden-Harris administration continues to send military aid for Israel's ethnic cleansing and extermination of civilians in Gaza, which Trump also supports. Millions of voters can't stomach the idea of voting for pro-genocide candidates."
Cassandra Lems, co-chair of the Green Party of the US:
"The DNC wants Jill Stein off the ballot. They assume that if Dr. Stein dropped out of the race, Stein voters would vote for Harris — which is like believing that Harris voters would vote for Trump if Harris were to drop out."
Joseph Naham, co-chair of the Green Party of the US:
"Does the DNC really think that smearing the candidate I support and trying to keep her off the ballot will motivate me to vote for Harris? If Democrats can't defeat the worst GOP nominee in history in a landslide, their problem isn't Jill Stein."
Justin Paglino, co-chair of the Green Party of the US:
"The DNC wants the public to believe that Jill Stein is siphoning votes from Kamala Harris, which shows that the DNC thinks Harris owns my vote. Harris doesn't own anyone's vote except her own. Candidates have to earn my vote. Stein did, Harris didn't."
Randall Toler, co-chair of the Florida Green Party:
"Democrats scream like banshees when Dr. Stein receives a check from a Republican, while they brag about the flood of endorsements and generous contributions for Harris from Liz Cheney, her war-criminal father, Karl Rove, and other top Republicans."
Charles Ostdiek, co-chair of the Green Party of the US:
"The DNC is so obsessed with Stein voters like me who reject the idea of voting for either Harris or Trump that it ignores the 40% of qualified voters who don't bother to vote and the fact that nonvoters determine election outcomes."
Craig Cayetano, co-chair of the Green Party of the US:
"Democrats could neutralize the alleged spoiler factor by working to enact Ranked Choice Voting, which accommodates alternatives to the two major parties' candidates while ensuring the winner has majority support. The Democratic Party rejects RCV — Gov. Gavin Newsom vetoed it in California — and instead tries to discredit Green candidates and kick them off the ballot. Would Dems really rather lose to the GOP than tolerate alternative parties in elections?"
Ann Link, Green National Committee delegate from the National Women's Caucus:
"In other democratic countries, voters have a choice of more than two parties and two candidates on the ballot with a wide range of political views. Only in the US is the participation of alternative parties treated like an unnatural interference that must be eradicated. It's appalling to see so many in the US media parroting the DNC's talking points."
