Tonight we introduce Green Uprising, a new home base for peaceful revolution where we turn resistance from the last election into rebellion in the next. Green Uprising resists not just Trump, but the whole bipartisan corporate system spreading war and injustice across the globe, paving the way for demagogues like Trump. We’ll discuss the continuing corporate control of the Democratic Party by Wall Street and war profiteers, and the illusion of a progressive insurgency in the primaries when in reality the establishment overwhelmingly prevailed. We’ll also talk about amazing Green candidates in winnable races promoting an agenda for people, planet and peace over profit.

Bottom line: we’re still the ones we’ve been waiting for. Forget the politics of fear and the blaming and shaming of independent voters. The problem is the corrupt political system, not the people who refuse to perpetuate it. We need more voices and choices, not fewer, and reforms like ranked choice voting to fix our broken voting system.
