Thank you for your interest in getting involved in Indiana!
The Stein/Baraka campaign was not on the ballot in 2016 but received over 3,500 write-in votes!
Indiana has some of the highest ballot access petition signature requirements and the most restrictive ballot access laws in the country. However several regional candidates are in the process of petitioning for ballot access in Indiana right now.
For a Green Presidential candidate to qualify for ballot access as an independent candidate, they must collect at approximately 45,000 valid signatures by June 30, 2020. This means that we will need to collect upwards of 70,000 raw signatures.
If we can achieve 2% of the vote for Secretary of State in 2022, ballot access will be retained for 2024 without having to re-petition.
We are looking for people to help coordinate our statewide ballot access efforts including petitioning, volunteering, and legal assistance in their regions and counties of Indiana. Please fill out the ballot access volunteer form and contact one of our ballot access leads below.
Please donate to help Greens to win ballot access in all 50 states + DC and territories in 2020 and beyond by making a donation to our Ballot Access Committee fund.
