John Rensenbrink

John Rensenbrink is co-founder of the Maine and national Green parties (1984), and has been active in their daily affairs since, including as candidate for U.S. Senate in 1996.

He is Professor Emeritus of Government and Legal Studies at Bowdoin College and author of “Against All Odds: the Green Transformation of American Politics” 1999; and "Ecological Politics, For Survival and Democracy," 2017.

He lives with his wife, Carla, in Topsham, Maine.
