Josh Anderson as Alderman for Milwaukee’s 3rd District
Josh Anderson grew up in Cudahy, Wisconsin. He was raised by working-class parents, who instilled in him the values of fairness and compassion. Josh is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside and a dedicated member of the Riverwest community. Currently running for Alderperson in Milwaukee's 3rd District, Josh brings a diverse background from working in the service industry to corporate training, and leadership in customer operations.
He first became involved in politics during the Act 10 protests. His family was profoundly affected by the legislation, which threatened public sector unions. It sparked Josh’s desire to advocate for workers’ rights and fueled his commitment to political activism. This activism grew to encompass a wide range of issues including environmental sustainability, democratic reforms, and an extensive list of social issues. He currently manages a team of technical customer advisors for a waste management company. Josh is driven by a desire to make meaningful change and is focused on creating a more inclusive, equitable, and environmentally conscious future for all.
