At the February meeting of the Green Party of New Orleans, we discussed a number of important events that are happening in the next few weeks. Most importantly, our members are encouraged to take part in the No Gas Plant campaign. The campaign is organizing actions leading up to the city council vote on March 8th.

Voter Registration at the Hike
Volunteers needed! Our chapter is hoping to host a voter registration table at the Hike at the Lafitte Greenway on March 10th. If you would like to volunteer at the table, please e-mail Bart Everson at [email protected].
Next Meeting: Toward a Local Platform of Ecological Wisdom
The first half hour of our meeting will address regular business. The remainder will be devoted to an interactive discussion with Renate Heurich of 350.org on the topic of Ecological Wisdom, and what our local platform should look like.
